This was announced at a conference held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results of the work carried out in 2018 and plans for 2019.

It should be noted that in accordance with the concept of further development of national culture in the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved by the decree of the President of our country of November 28, 2018, it is planned to create cultural centers on the basis of existing centers of culture and recreation of the population of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.

Measures are being taken to repair these institutions in accordance with modern requirements, to strengthen their material and technical base. In 2019-2022, construction and repair works will be carried out in 147 cultural centers. In particular, it is planned to build 26 objects, reconstruct 45. Another 76 cultural centers will be completely renovated.
